British pants in Europe. Quite by chance, BaCStage have never been more topical…
The significantly-less-than-three years that we have been working on ‘Allo ‘Allo have gone remarkably well so far:
- The Production
CabinetCommittee hasn’t split three ways, and no whipping has been required (any whipping that has taken place has been entirely consensual).
- No-one has broken away to form an Independent Panto Group.
- No-one has requested an extension, technical or otherwise, to the rehearsal schedule.
- No-one submitted any amendments to the script.
- We’ve even reached an outline post-‘Allo ‘Allo agreement on what our next production will be (more of that in future posts)
Maybe we should raise a people’s army and seize control of the state! (You vill komplete ‘Allo ‘Allo first or you vill be shot! – Herr Direktor Ed).
Something else we’ve done very well is sell tickets. A lot of tickets. Saturday night has sold out at Bluntisham Garage and we have one single solitary ticket left online. Friday has sold out online and is selling fast at the Garage. We still have tickets available for Thursday and for the Saturday matinee, but we encourage you to buy your tickets in advance. We may not have any left to sell on the door!
Click the shopping cart thingy below for online purchases (you will be transferred to TicketSource to purchase your tickets)…
… or call in to Bluntisham Garage to buy in person.
You can meet the ‘Allo ‘Allo cast here.
Back to the subject of pants (and why not), this is not the first time that BaCStage pants have received a public airing. The previous public parader of pants (try saying that quickly while gargling your pint) has requested that their anonymity be preserved. In spite of the ever-increasing editorial staff monitoring this blog, mistakes do occasionally slip through.
Anonymity preserved; I think we got away with that one.
Will there be any German pants on display? Vell, zat vould be tellingk!
