7 Ages of Man Cast

Next month our latest production, 7 Ages of Man, will hit the road. As well as commemorating Shakespeare we are also honouring the tradition of travelling bands of players as we tour the highways and byways of Cambridgeshire (between Colne and Pidley) performing for the entertainment of the good folk of those parishes. This will be a somewhat different venture for all of us. Think of it, if you will, as “BaCStage unplugged” or “pop-up theatre”. You could even say “we’ll be going on a journey”.

Each actor will be playing sev’ral parts in various ages, performing a range of scenes and sketches both bardy and contemporary, on the theme of “infant, schoolboy, lover, soldier, justice, pantaloon and old age”.

Nick

Nick

Nick’s contributions are usually rather wooden; he is our set designer and chief constructionist. This will be his first on-stage appearance since an alleged incident involving a gorilla suit many moons ago.
