It'll be murder at BaCStage this spring!

Hello again.  I’d like to start by wishing a belated happy new year to our loyal reader:
Happy new year to you, loyal reader.
Right then, on with the show.  Literally, as it turns out.  The big news since we last spoke is that we have now selected our spring play.  In April we will be performing Murdered To Death, a spoof murder-mystery whodunnit by Peter Gordon.  Imagine Miss Marple meets Inspector Clouseau in a faded English country house inhabited by an oddball collection of… oddballs, and you’ll have some idea what to expect.  We’ve only just cast it, and opening night is less than 3 months away, so there’s a lot to be done in the next few weeks.  It’s going to be murder at BaCStage this spring in more ways than one!
This hilarious spoof of the best of Agatha Christie traditions is set in a country manor house in the 1930s, with an assembled cast of characters guaranteed to delight – Bunting the butler; an English Colonel with the prerequisite stiff upper lip; a shady French art dealer and his moll; the bumbling police inspector and a well-meaning local sleuth who seems to attract murder wherever she goes – they’re all here, and all caught up in the side-splitting antics which follow the mysterious death of the house’s owner.  It soon becomes clear that the murderer isn’t finished yet, but will the murderer be unmasked before everyone else has met their doom, or will audiences die laughing first?
